I've been planning on making Andreas Kalcker's version of CDS here:

So far I've been able to get 114 grams of Sodium Chlorite 80% power / flake and 500ml of Hydrochloric Acid at 6.28%. In the video, he uses a 25% solution of Sodium Chlorite and a 4% solution of Hydrochloric Acid.

For the math, I tried to look up dilution math but it gets fairly complicated on chemistry sites. Then I found two old videos from Genesis II church. In one of them he shows the math for diluting the acid:

So following that I got:

to get 4% HCL:
6.28 / 4 = 1.57 parts
if 1 part of HCL = 500ml
1 - 1.57 parts = .57
then .57 x 500ml = 285ml water
this gives 785ml of 4% HCL solution

Then I tried the same thing with the sodium chlorite, but using grams instead of mililiters. Since 1ml of water is equal to 1gr, it's easy to just convert over at the end:

to get 25% NaClO2: 80/25 = 3.2 parts
if 1 part of NaClO2 = 114gr
1 - 3.2 parts = 2.2
then 2.2 x 114 = 250.8ml water

Does this look correct? I just wanted to double check to see if I made any errors before I start to make it. Thanks!

Use the fourth converter down the page to dilute your 6.28% HCL to 4%

Your math is correct for HCL dilution.

Regarding "Andreas Kalcker's method" of making CDS using MMS and 4% HCL, I developed that method in 2015, 3 years before he published his book. He "borrowed" my method down to the exact recipe, without giving me credit. He is known for doing that sort of thing. I also developed the shot-glass method of making CDS in 2012, which he also showed in his video.

hmm, yes 785ml. Glad I got that part right.

Oh really? He was rather vague about where he got his info from in his book Forbidden Health, at least with "unofficial" online sources.

Interesting. I remember you showing me this one in the other thread. So it looks like instead of using 5ml of MMS & HCL, you use 10ml of MMS & 20ml of HCL. Twice the MMS and 4 times the acid. It looks like a smaller space too. I'm guessing every time you mention MMS, you're referring to 22.4% sodium chlorite? That seems to be the standard. I was thinking that I needed to have 25% instead of 22.4% to have a decently high ppm solution of CDS, but you're saying that I just need to use more HCL and sodium chlorite in the reaction in a pyrex container? Would the same method work with the shot glass and jar? Having CDS in 3 hours would be really nice.

using the percent ratio to calculate the amount of water, assuming 22.4% dilution and subtracting 1 part as always:
80%/22.4% = 3.57
2.57 x 42.7 = 109.7
2.57 x 85.4 = 219.59
2.57 x 170.8 = 439.19
2.57 x 341.5 = 878.14

According to the numbers, it looks like I was right

The key to making CDS in a short time and with more efficiency, is the depth of the reactor solution. It should not be more than 2 mm deep and must be uniform in depth. So, using a shot-glass won't work for making Quick CDS. There are many combinations of containers that could be used. I tested for over 1 year trying all kinds of ideas. The simplest idea for most people is to use a glass 2 compartment bento box. Recently I found one that has a flip-open vent on the lid that makes it safe and easy to get CDS out after the activation is complete.

Here is the CLO2 ppm vs time for the photos above. 120ml of CDS water + 5ml MMS + 10ml 4% HCL was the recipe.

I see, what is a brand name of that one with the vent lid? I've never seen a container like that before. Only the pyrex meal boxes. It's almost like that one you have was made just for CDS enthusiasts

Today I finally made CDS for the first time, along with diluting the sodium chlorite to 25% and HCL to 4% beforehand. All that took longer than expected, and I was nervous that I'd get something wrong, but once I saw it turn that dark brown color I knew I got it right. I'm using the jar + shot glass method and have it packed inside of a box to keep it in the dark until morning when I'll do the 2nd reaction and wait another 12 hours. The waiting isn't as bad as I imagined, but I'm going to try and get one of those pyrex / bento boxes anyway.

Oh, I did hit one snag: I bought a cheap scale that doesn't show anything smaller than whole number, so no decimal point or any smaller parts of a gram. Do you have any recommendations for a decent scale I could use to get better accuracy? Thanks again!

The only bento box with a vent built into the lid that I could find online, was from a manufacturer in China. They sent me 3 sizes; 640ml, 1040ml, and 1500ml. There is not much difference between the two larger sizes, so I will only be testing the 640ml (seen in photos above) and the 1040ml.

The next problem is finding someone to sell them, which won't be me. Maybe find a seller on AliExpress who would agree to sell them. AliExpress sells and ships world-wide.

I made CDS in same container with Chinese flip lid. But the bowl had a single chamber. They all failed to make 3000 ppm. After leaving it in the fridge overnight the ppm was even less and you could smell the cds when opening the door. The previous one I made the amber colour was gone in 5 days in the fridge. I found in the last one I made last night worked, but only because over the hole I sealed it with sticky tape and pulled the flap down onto it. If you look close you can see flaps plug is not tapered but even sides. This was the problem for me and I tried 3 different pyrex size containers. Using a tapered silicone plug to plug the hole like CLO2 has used should do the trick and stop the gas escaping.

Woofy, in the past I have used the same type of container and lid. The current one I am testing only leaks a tiny amount of gas, but that could be fixed the same as you fixed yours - with tape.

The advantage of having the flip-up lid vent is getting CDS safely out of the container.

Yes CLO2 , you are absolutely correct about the advantage of the flip top lid. I wasnt aware of the leakage of the plug under the flip top lid but yes the tape works well over the hole. And the advantage of your extracting the CDS is sound. I have ordered a 2 part container from the states, havent seen one yet , I may reverse the lid to extract the 2ml from the activation compartment to extract that and then pour off the CDS into a storage bottle. Always good to hear what you have to say. Thinking outside the square.
Also read the Pyrex container, a blue lid, made in France is described as leak proof whereas chinese made, out China, described as Air tight Interesting but could be just a way of words.
