When you say saucepan - do you mean - metal saucepan?

Do not use a metal container for MMS - glass or HDPE plastic only.

I have not treated a clothes closet. But I have treated an under-the-sink cabinet that suffered a dripping tap unbeknownst to us for too long time. I think it took about a week of daily 10 drop treatments.
