Plse help--need advice dosing my dog was created by Rev Glenda
Please I need to know how to continue dosing my dog -
My dog was doing good, perky, good appetite, etc - today is not - temp is back up can tell he doesn't feel good. Am I dosing him wrong? TOO much, too often?
I have no idea whether he has a virus or bacteria - 3 vets couldn't tell me, just that he has an infection, their antibiotics (3 separate ones) didn't touch it.
Day 1 - gave him -- mms only - 6 doses, 12 ml - every 2 hrs
Day 2 - gave him -- mms only - 6 doses, 12 ml - every hour
Day 3 & 4 - gave him -- mms & DMSO - 5 doses, 12 ml , every hour
He was doing wonderful on day 4, like he was totally healed.
Today - day 5 - so far he has had 5 doses MMS & DMSO and I upped it to 13 ml.
Because of his weight (15 lbs) I still have him at 1/2 drop - should I drop back and just do every 2 hrs or remove the DMSO (he's been on DMSO for past 2 days. He's not had any vomiting or diarrhea.
I decided to keep him off all of it, let him rest, for 4 hrs today. That will be up at 5:30.
Please - what should I do?
Thanks - Glenda

I would drop the DMSO and back off a little on the dosing - either 1 every 2 hours or drop down in the number of drops (say 1/4 rather than 1/2) per dose.

I think I will try the every 2 hrs - unless I can figure out now how to do 1/4 drop. He would probably be better with every 2 hrs.
Thank you Pam

Why do you keep holding onto the DMSO?
You do 1/4 drop the same way you do 1/8 of a drop. make 1 drop and throw away 3/4 of it.

Thanks pam. I had planned on stopping using the DMSO and just do the MMS, figured that might be making it too strong for him, also after I sent the last post, I figured out how to make 1/4 drop. I surely do appreciate all your help.

Oh, good. Yes, better to back off for a bit until you know where you are.

Pam - I have been giving him doses via a syringe, 13 ml - I will just go to smaller amounts - someone said even a smidgen if need be - I've probably been giving
him too much today. I will wait till 12th and then start off slow and NOT do DMSO. Thanks again for all your help - I'm still learning and really want to be sure I do it right - He is SO important to me.
God bless
Glenda
