sc and mms test

is there any simple test that can be done at home to determine if sc or mms is genuine

If you add it to a food acid and it turns yellow/brown and has a chlorine smell. That pretty much will tell you all you need to know. Your other alternative is to get LaMotte testing strips, and test/
