Can you take a picture of the label. Lab HCL is 12 Normal and the percent is 37%. If yours is 10 Normal is not 10% for sure. it can be 10 Normal but not 10 %. So if you can take a picture of the label and loaded or get the MSDS of the product will be great. IF is already 10 N will be easy to calculate.masoomi wrote: Hi

Perfect!!!! Look like you have a 10 Normal solution that is the same of 10 Molar. To make the 4% solution
M1V1 = M2V2
(10)(X)=(1.09)(1000)
X = 109 ML of the 10N dilute to 1 liter to make the 4% or 11 ml dilute to 100 ml if you want only 3 ounces.
For the 5% solution
(10)(X)=(1.37)(1000)
X = 137 ML of the 10 N dilute to 1 liter to make 5% or 14 ml dilute to 100 ml if you want only 3 ounces of solution.
Only use Distilled water to dilute to the final volume. Is not add 137 to 1000 ml is add water to the 1000 ml mark. Let me know if you have clear this way to make solution.
NOTE
EVERY SOLUTION IS DIFFERENT SO DO NOT FOLLOW THIS TO MAKE OTHER PERSON SOLUTION UNLESS IS THE SAME PRODUCT PURCHASE FROM THE SAME SUPLIER. IN this case the Normality of the Acid is Know so the Percent of the solution is not required , same as the density or Specific Gravity. When the Normality is not know , the other two values are required to calculate the concentration of the concentrate solution.

Wrong!!!, I said fill to the mark. Do not add 14 ml to a 100 ml of distilled water that not a 100 ml solution is a 114 ml solution that was not the solution I calculate. The final volume has to be 100 ml.
You can reuse the old bottle that does not matter.

Cool water will make the amount more because the volume change with temperature. Keep both at the same room temp when you made them. Then you can put it in the fridge. But HCL solution are very stable at room temp. But Keep it very close tight because is a gas dissolve in water can escape easy to the atmosphere if leave it open. Lost a lot of strength that way.

Question: How does MMS interact with various plastics? Jim: In regards to your question about plastics, we really cannot give you a “sure bet” answer. More is Not Always Better
Published on: June 9, 2026
In my books, there are times when one might need to take larger doses of MMS/CD. In Protocol 2000, for example you’ll find maximum dosage amounts. Some might take this to mean the more MMS one takes the better. But this is NOT necessarily so! More is not necessarily better, you need to listen to …
