And one other question. I normally take several doses of vitamin C per day, totaling about 10-12 grams in the form of sodium ascorbate. I have been told that vitamin c only lasts an hour or so in the body. Is it all right to continue taking the higher dosage as long as I respect the 2 hour spacing at the beginning and end of my daily Protocol 1000? I don't want to cancel the benefits of the msm1 protocol.
Thank you.

The Linus Pauling Institute has this to say about Vitamin-C and the time it can remain in the body:
My suggestion is to choose MMS or Vitamin-C therapy, and not do both at the same time. And, if you want to take high doses of Vitamin-C, contrary to what the article quoted above says, Liposomal Vitamin-C has been proven to work much better than taking plain ascorbic acid. No, there are probably no controlled field trials or peer-reviewed testing on Vitamin-C, but just like MMS, over the years many, many people say they both work.Vitamin C in the Body How long does vitamin C stay in the body?
Vitamin C can stay in the body for weeks.

Question: How does MMS interact with various plastics? Jim: In regards to your question about plastics, we really cannot give you a “sure bet” answer. More is Not Always Better
Published on: June 9, 2026
In my books, there are times when one might need to take larger doses of MMS/CD. In Protocol 2000, for example you’ll find maximum dosage amounts. Some might take this to mean the more MMS one takes the better. But this is NOT necessarily so! More is not necessarily better, you need to listen to …
