CDS with diabetes

So my neighbor is taking CDS for diabetes. Does he take the stevia when he drinks his dose? Can he mix the stevia with the CDS in the same container? And with the kalanchoe leaves does he just eat a little when he takes his dose of CDS? Thank you!
