6 and 6 protocol for cats

I am thinking of trying the '6 and 6' protocol for cats first.  If he is 10 pounds, column 5 is 3 & 3 (drops).  I don't understand how to prepare the 3 drop doses?  There are instructions for how much water to add to MMS1.  It states to estimate the animals daily water intake, halve this amount, and then divide by the number of hourly doses.  With '6 and 6', there are 2 hourly doses.  If the average water intake is 1 ounce per pound, a 10 pound cat would be 10 ounces of water.  This halved is 5 ounces, then divided by 2 hourly '6 and 6' doses would be 2.5 ounces.  So I would add 2.5 ounces to 3 MMS1 drops and give that 2.5 ounces to the cat for each of the two doses?  That is a lot of liquid to try to syringe into a cat though.  It says one can give less or more water than this.  I'd be lucky to get 1 ounce syringed into a cat.  Am I understanding this protocol correctly?  I don't see how I can do this protocol and I am thinking maybe I should try the SCS protocol for severe cases instead that only require 1ml doses for a 10 pound cat.  Any thoughts?
