hydrochloric acid instead of lemon to activate was created by naomi
At the MMS Conference in Prague, Andreas mentioned that hydrochloric acid was a better activator than lemon/citric acid and had greater benefits. I have been looking for further information on this, but have not found it.
Have they written anything further about this some where?
What type of hydrochloric acid do you buy?
How is it diluted and to what percentage?
I believe he said it is used 1:1 with sodium chlorite
How is it more beneficial than lemon?

Don't know the "how is it more beneficial than lemon" part, but I can answer some of your question:
Use 4% HCl - and it is used 1:1 like the 50% citric acid. It does seem to activate a bit quicker, but we still wait the 20-30 seconds that we wait with 50% citric acid. It is diluted down to the 4% with distilled water.
For those who have problems with citric acid, it does seem to be easier on the stomach - I also notice that the taste is not as strong as with citric acid.

Thanks Pam...
Do you know if hydrochloric acid comes in different grades or is it all the same?
Also, I was wondering that even though it's diluted, would it not cause damage to the enamel of your teeth as does acid from the stomach? It would be best to rinse your mouth after each use, no?
I'm thinking of people that have bulimia, forcing themselves to vomit which causes problems with their teeth from the large amount of stomach acid.

naomi,
Hydrochloric Acid does come in many grades, but 4% is what's used to mix WITH MMS. The amount of time that the Hydrochloric Acid is in contact with your teeth is very minimal.... also, the saliva in our mouth is very alkaline, which helps neutralize any possible damage.
The main thing is, that the MMS or CDS is diluted SO much, that even though it has Hydrochloric Acid in the solution, it cannot (in my opinion) do harm to the enamel of ones teeth.... especially since you'r supposed to be drinking a lot of water with each hourly dose... there is no time for any significan amount of Hydrochloric Acid to do any damage to the tooth.

There are a number of grades - mms4sale.com has "cleanroom" HCl, which is electronics grade -- although I know people who were using plain ole muriatic acid from the pool shop - There's an ACS grade on ebay. The issue is the percentage - and that requires a dilution calendar to get to 4% - OR, you should buy from someone that you trust.
