CDS v MMS with Baking Soda was created by Small
If Baking Soda can be used to take away the nasty taste of MMS is it necessary to make CDS.
What are the advantages of CDS over MMS with Baking Soda added.? Does it keep longer?

I think we may find specific ones over time. After all, CDS has only been available to us since November, I believe. The one I can think of right off the top of my head is for people who are truly allergic to citric acid.
That said, they may prove to be equal - (although I doubt that will be the case when the dust is settled - I'm more inclined to think one will be better for a certain application than the other, although both may work) - and if this is the case, and people are unable to get the CDS, then the MMS w/Na HCO3 (sodium bicarbonate or baking soda) will be another option for them. I'm all for having as many tools in my tool chest as possible.

Main difference between CDS and MMS1 (from the chemical point of wiev):
CDS (Chlorine Dioxide Solution) is almost chemically pure solution of ClO2 in water (at least if it is fresh prepared). On the other hand activated MMS1 contains except of chlorine dioxide some amount of unreacted sodium chlorite and unreacted citric acid (CA), citric acid sodium salts and chloride. Then there are some byproducts of the main reaction present, as are chlorate anion, chlorine, hypochlorous and hydrochloric acids. In the case the baking soda is added, there is no CA anymore but more citric acid sodium salts. More detailed explanation is in my comments to Balanced Chemical Reactions (enclosed).

Hello,
I'm wondering if CDS, since it "goes to the bloodstream," will work on viruses that are strictly in the blood. I'm speaking specifically about Hepatitis C. I'm not finding a lot about this disease. I'm still searching the forum, but, not finding a lot. It just makes sense to me, that if the gas makes it to the bloodstream, it should kill the virus. Then again, I wonder what makes MMS not make it to the bloodstream too. CDS does, MMS doesn't? I don't understand.
Thanks!!!

Hi, Ready. They both make it into the bloodstream. Cds is pure chlorine dioxide in water whereas MMS is chlorine dioxide and many other things in water. The active ingredient is the chlorine dioxide.

The only report of cds not working, that I'm aware of, came from Africa on the occasion of a minister of health treating some malaria sufferers at gun point, and only given one chance. Unfortunately it didn't work out.
Others more knowledgeable than I am should reply. Michael?
