This is a really cool thread - Tx for starting it Small....

I have been experimenting with adding bicarb to my twice daily 8 drop of MMS1 maintenance regime for the past two weeks now. I put a small pinch of bicarb in my glass of 240ml spring water - stir it up, and then add my reacted MSS1 8x40 mix in.

Tastes great, and makes it more palatable for me personally. Thing is - I still get my stomach going off after two or three days into the regime. Now I can understand that there is a reaction to the MMS1 protocol here - but as I am partial to the simple view of things, it has to be one of two things going on:

1. The gut flora are being badly disturbed and this is could be due to various factors.
2. One of the chemical components (not necessarily the acid one) is reacting up a storm.

Now what intrigues me is I have this reaction, yet my wife has NEVER had any diarrhoea at all. We eat the same stuff, we are both vegetarian, our water intake is similar, we both drink too much coffee (grin) - so I am very interested to get to the bottom of this.

Any other similar experiences out there?

Hello,

Newbie here, just discovering the world of MMS/MMS2, etc.

But I've long been a fan of sodium bicarbonate/baking soda/bicarbonate of soda on its own (in water) for all sorts of things from cleaning to cooking to healing, so no surprise that it should have a role here as well.

I was just wondering if another approach might be to take a drink of fairly dilute (dilute to taste) sodium bicarbonate first, and then while that taste is still in the mouth, drink down the activated MMS solution. This should still mask the taste to some extent, with less risk of neutralising the acidity of the MMS solution. Just a thought, anyway.

Regards,
M.

Hi Montmorency! I think that taking the activated drops of MMS1 right after the Bicarbonate, as you suggest, will still affect the pH, being that it will still find the Bicarbonate in the stomach, and mix with it, before it is passed through the pylorus in to the small intestine. Therefore, taking them both at the same time to improve the taste, will have the same effect as taking the Bicarbonate first, and while the taste lingers in your mouth, down the MMs1 right after. Have you tried apple juice ?

I tried to find apple juice that was ok to use with the MMS, but, I found only apple juice with vitamin c in it. I have asked many people what to use to kill the taste, and I still don't have an answer. HOWEVER, there is another way to take the MMS, that supposedly is taste free. Well, I haven't tried it yet, but I am about to. I think.....well, I don't remember exactly, but, you can make a LOT of it at once, and drink it, without having to deal with mixing it every time.....Jim Humble has a video describing how to do it. I don't have that link at my disposal right now, but, I will find it later tonight. I'll try to post it later.
BE cool ! !
Oh yeh, I remember, it is CDS. That is what I was trying to remember. I need to go back and figure out how to make it, because, I am about to get on a regular routine of taking it, along with.....well, along with nothing. I think the CDS is all I need. It is supposed to be an improvement over MMS, I believe. I really don't know, I guess I'm just talking, somebody shut me up! Life is short, but, with Hep C, life can be SHORT....I'm counting on CDS to extend my life tremendously ! !
